Boulder, CO - April 2023 - Summer

FAQs
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
In Texas, I work at Snowbird Studio (a private shop) in Austin. In Washington, I work at Skin and Soul in Bellevue. I work by appointment only and take on specific pieces that fit my style.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT?
Yes. When my books are open, there will be a request form on my Instagram page. If your project is accepted, I will reach out to you to choose an appointment date & time. I do not accept all projects. Due to the volume of requests I receive, I am selective about choosing pieces that line up with my interests and design style.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? HOW DO I PAY YOU?
I work at $250 an hour and have a 2 hour minimum. The length of your appointment includes everything we need to do to complete your piece (setup, stenciling, tattooing etc.) not just the time of needle to skin. This is the simplest way to book as you will know exactly what your project will cost in advance.
Generally, a piece the size of a baseball or softball is around 2 hours ($500).
A design the size of a small iPhone and highly detailed may be 3 hours ($750).
A piece larger than an iPhone with multiple elements is usually 4 hours ($1000).
A full forearm / shoulder piece, or part of a half/full sleeve project will take 5 hours ($1250)
Below are examples of tattoos completed in different appointment length times. If you need more examples of pieces and their time requirements, please check the captions on my IG posts.
My highest priority is providing my clients with quality work and original designs that look amazing and hold up overtime. My prices reflect all the work and attention to detail that go into creating a great piece and a great experience for you.
WHEN CAN I SEE THE DRAWING FOR MY TATTOO?
Due to the volume of drawings I have every week, I am not able to send designs in advance. The drawing will be available to view day-of and we will have time to review, collaborate and make small tweaks during your appointment.
WHERE DO I PARK? WHAT DOES CHECK-IN LOOK LIKE?
Snowbird Studio (TX) is located on the East Side in the 501 Studios building. We validate parking for thhe Corazon Parking garage, located one block away from the studio. Directions can be found on the snowbird studio page in the 'Parking' highlight. Street parking (pay stations) is $2/hr and free on Sundays. Directions can also be found in your confirmation email.
Skin and Soul (WA) shares parking spaces with a garment repair shop. Labeled spots in front of the studio and garment shop are great. We can also use parking spots up by Paggliaci Pizza and there is a staircase down to the studio from that upper lot. ANY available spots in the (now closed) Rite Aid lot are also available. The studio is tucked into the corner beside Rite Aid. Our front desk staff will check you in on arrival.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Larger custom pieces may require a $100 deposit. I will let you know if that is the case. Deposits go toward your overall tattoo cost.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO, AND CARE FOR IT AFTER?
Before:
-
Stay well hydrated with water and make sure you have eaten beforehand
-
The evening before, shave the area that is to be tattooed
-
Wear appropriate, clean, loose fitting clothing that can get dirty
-
Plan on leaving with a plastic wrap on
-
Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo
-
Clean your tattoo with warm water and fragrance free soap
-
Dab your tattoo dry and avoid any rubbing motion
-
Apply a thin layer of moisturizer (I recommend Aquaphor)
-
Repeat morning and night until your tattoo has finished peeling
WHAT KIND OF TATTOOS WILL YOU DO?
Florals, plants, animals, abstract & geometric concepts, male & female figures, half sleeve & full sleeve projects. I work in strictly black and grey. You can send me references of pieces or visuals you like but I will not copy someone else's work. Everything will be custom drawn and tailored to you. My instagram is a great resource to see what types of pieces I am interested in doing.
WHAT KIND OF TATTOOS WONT YOU DO?
Please check the "Booking" highlight on my instagram page for a comprehensive list of what I will and will not tattoo!
About Me
Born in Toronto and raised in NY, I started making my way further south in college where I studied Computer Information Systems in Charleston, SC. Post-grad, the even warmer weather and sunshine brought me to Austin, TX. I worked in the corporate world as a graphic designer for many years before my creative passions finally led me to tattooing.
In 2020, I moved to Washington and became a resident artist at Skin and Soul in Bellevue. Outside of tattooing, I enjoy weightlifting, climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and generally any sort of adventure!
Currently, we live half the year (summers) in Washington and the other half (winters) in Austin, TX. My studio in Austin, Snowbird Studio, operates year-round with a handful of very talented female artists! Feel free to check them out @snowbird_studio.
I'm passionate about connecting with clients and really pride myself on understanding what they want out of a tattoo. My entire process is designed to create a fun experience, a beautiful piece of art, and a lasting memory.
