The Dali sleeve took 5-6 appointments. We started on the forearm with the elephants + some forearm wrap which was a ~6 hour session. Our second long session we completed the backside of the forearm & the tall woman bicep piece. Third we added a small butterfly rose on the tricep (~2 hrs). Next we did the Moon shoulder cap plus some additional filler which was a full day (6-8 hours). The lobster phone and giraffe on fire were our final pieces, and I forget if they were separate appointments! All the appointments added up is about 25-28 hours, probably 20 of which were actual tattooing. This was done when my hourly rate was $200 an hour.

Brooke's sleeve is a little hard to quantify because it was done over the span of 2+ years. We started with an inner and outer forearm piece representing different members of her family. We then added a LARGE upper arm piece (she's jacked) which took us about 7 hours and included a zodiac animal for each of her loved ones. The inner arm came next with a skull wearing a cowboy hat - a nod to her Texan upbringing. And we finished with 1-2 sessions of smaller filler pieces. A hummingbird. Extra foliage. Extra geometry. This sleeve kept us laughing toward the end as Brooke was always wanting to fill tiny white spaces with extra triangles here and there. To this day, I still don't know with full confidence that she wont ask me to add another shape somewhere! Love you Brooke <3
